What does RPM mean?
It depends on the context: revenue per mille (earnings per 1,000 pageviews or views) in publishing, revolutions per minute in engines and machines, remote patient monitoring in healthcare, and the RPM Package Manager in Linux.
What is RPM in AdSense?
Page RPM: estimated earnings divided by pageviews, times 1,000. It is an estimate of what you earn per 1,000 pageviews, per Google's AdSense documentation.
Why is my YouTube RPM lower than my CPM?
CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 monetized playbacks, before YouTube's share. RPM is what you keep per 1,000 total views, after the share, with unmonetized views in the denominator. Both differences push RPM below CPM.
Is a higher RPM always better for a publisher?
Not by itself. Total revenue is RPM times traffic. Ad density can raise RPM while degrading the reading experience and long-run traffic; the pages on increasing RPM cover the trade-offs.
What is a good RPM for a website?
It depends on niche, geography, season and which RPM your dashboard reports. No network publishes a per-niche benchmark table, so treat any single 'average RPM' figure without a source and date with suspicion.
What RPM should my car idle at?
Most modern petrol cars idle in the 600 to 1,000 rpm band once warm, higher for a minute or two on a cold start. A warm idle far outside that band, or one that hunts up and down, is worth investigating.
Is driving at high RPM bad for my engine?
Brief high RPM on a warm engine is what the rev limiter and redline exist to police. Sustained near-redline running accelerates wear, and a cold engine at high RPM is the genuinely harmful case.
How do I convert RPM to Hz?
Divide by 60. A 3,600 rpm motor spins at 60 Hz. Multiply by 60 to go the other way.
What is RPM in healthcare?
Remote patient monitoring: connected devices sending readings like blood pressure or glucose from home to a clinical team, defined by HHS and billable to Medicare under CPT codes 99453, 99454, 99457 and 99458.
What is an .rpm file and can I open one on Windows?
It is a Linux software package for RPM-based distributions like RHEL, Fedora and openSUSE. Windows cannot install it, though archive tools such as 7-Zip can open one to inspect its contents.
What is the difference between RPM and CPM in advertising?
CPM is the buyer's price for 1,000 impressions; RPM is the seller's earnings per 1,000 pageviews, sessions or views. One page with several ad units can have a page RPM higher than any single unit's CPM.
What does 1,400 rpm mean on a washing machine?
The maximum spin speed of the drum: 1,400 revolutions per minute during the spin cycle. Faster spins extract more water and shorten drying, at the cost of more noise and vibration.
