Entry: 50,000 sessions
Mediavine's published requirement is 50,000 sessions in the previous 30 days, with 25,000 for an additional site from an already-accepted publisher Mediavine2026-08. Sessions, not pageviews: on a typical site that is meaningfully more traffic than a 50,000-pageview bar. The application reviews content originality and advertiser standing as well as the number.
The share table, including the 2026 change
Mediavine publishes its revenue share in full Mediavine Help2026-08. Two structures now run in parallel, keyed to when a site joined:
| Program | Applies to | Published share |
|---|---|---|
| Legacy base | Sites launched before 1 Jan 2026 | 75%, rising to 80% / 82.5% / 85% at 5M / 10M / 15M impressions per 30 days |
| Official | Post-2026 sites earning under $100k/year | 75% flat |
| Select | $100k to $249,999/year | 80% flat |
| Signature | $250k to $499,999/year | 85% flat |
| Premiere | $500k+/year | 90% flat |
Optional GumGum and Chicory partnerships pay 80% per the same page Mediavine Help2026-08. The dashboard reports session RPM; the basis arithmetic is on the session RPM page.
The application, practically
- Verify 50,000 sessions in your own analytics over the trailing 30 days.
- Apply via the requirements page; review includes content and traffic quality.
- On acceptance, ad serving migrates to Mediavine's stack and reporting moves to session RPM.
Below the bar, or choosing between premiums
Under 50,000 sessions, the in-family answer is Journeyfrom 10,000 sessions. At the bar with a pageview-heavy profile, Raptive's 25,000-pageview entry may fit sooner; that decision is worked on Mediavine vs Raptive.
